Keyboard issue

Hello all,

I have a peculiar issue, which developed today without a clear genesis.

My control button (left) is closing windows whenever it is used. So, if I press control and F, the window is automatically closed. My arrow buttons have simultaneously started acting oddly. The right arrow also closes its window, whilst the left one brings up the find function and occasionally the windows mobility centre. These key functions are causing issues in my browser and word, and a restart has not helped.

Any help would be much appreciated because I cant work out what the issue is,

Personally, I've never heard of this sort of issue with the Keyboard.

See if you've accidently held down a key too long and activated Sticky Keys, or similar.

Go into Control Panel> Ease of Access>Make the keyboard easier to use. Make sure everything there is un-checked, except for "Turn on Toggle Keys by holding down NUM LOCK for 5 seconds.

Also, check in Device Manager for problems with the Keyboard driver.

hi if you have another keyboard give it a try or try keyboard on another computer see if does same thing.
