Hi,

Our company runs a program called Altiris (for software monitoring) and whenever it runs, the CPU usage is extremely high and it pretty much freezes up the laptop (or slows it down to the point where you cant do anything). I am unable to remove it from any laptop due to comapny policy. Has anyone ever dealt with this issue?

Also, does anyone know of a good tool to use to monitor disk activity?

Any thoughts/assistance is greatly appreciated!

Thank you,
Kevin

Hi Berkey,

Thank you for the reply. I tried the fix that was in the first link but it didnt work. This issue is kind of frustrating because I cant even get a correct solution from Symantec, the maker of the software. I am just gonna close this thread and wait for Symantec to resolve this issue. Thank you for taking the time to try to help me out, its greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Kevin
