Laptop Help : Compaq CQ58 - 260sa : Bios Help

Hiya


okay so im like really familiar with desktop computers and all but laptops .... OMG WHAT ! i know they are basically the same and all but yeah im a little bit more limited.


I have:Compaq CQ58 - 260sa


and i want to be able to over clock it or atleast mess around with the bios settings because manufacturers lock these abilities.

Anyway i believe its that weird UIFE , UEFI weird bios Sandy Bridge thing idek lol and i want to do something so im able to change my clock speeds and stuff

heres my cpu speeds and all just incase its usefull

i have upgraded my ram to 8GB aswell...

I wouldn't overclock a laptop. They don't have the required cooling to sustain higher clockspeeds without damage. Most of them run hot already, and most of them are pushed as far as they can go right from the factory. OCing a laptop is just asking for trouble.

Remember: Never OC what you can't afford to replace.
