Solved laptop keeps freezing up for split secs

I have a HP Laptop . windows 7 , IE8 dsl and my laptop freezes for a few secs and then continues on , then may happen again.. any idea what this might be. thanks

GOTO to task manager and goto performance tab . . . SEE if the ram and cpu are being over used ???
If not overused than check laptop temps ...................
POST the screen shorts of both

50'C seems to be normal, have got any anti-virus programs installed, and have you tried running a anti-virus scan?

I'm sorry razzle but this is the kind of problem which is far too vague to garner a quick response. We'd need to know things like:

- System hardware
- Running services and processes
- What you're doing at the time


50 C is perfectly fine for a modern laptop, particularly in warmer weather.
