Solved Laptop not waking from Hibernation

Hi,

I have a co-worker that says his laptop doesnt wakeup when it goes into hibernation mode. He said went to a meeting for 2 hours and when he came back, the green power light was on, but the laptop showed no signs of life and he had to reboot the laptop. Is there some kind of setting I can change for this? The laptop is a Lenovo ThinkPad W540. Any thoughts/suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Hibernate is actually a shutdown of all power after saving your work to c:\hiberfil.sys. If it doesn't say Resuming Windows when you power back up, then reset it to see if it will work correctly. Hibernate - Enable or Disable - Windows 7 Forums
