Laptop overheating,BSOD while playing games

I have a HP Probook 4545s with AMD A4-4300m 4 GB of ram and AMD Radeon 7420g.The CPU temp suddenly increases from 35 °C in idle to 85 °C in a few seconds and drops back again to 35.This is really annoying cause the fan gets really loud for a few seconds.Also when I use Skype,or playing games after 15-20 minutes it shuts down(actually it hibernates).When i turn it on again it shows that the max cpu temp was over 120 °C :shock:.Also lately I started getting BSOD KERNEL_DATA_INPAGE_ERROR - 0x0000007A.The laptop is three months old and it was used for browsing.
Any suggestions?

HP laptops are well known for over heating , I had to send mine back to HP because after just 6months from new because it wouldn't stay on for over 5 minutes it just over heated straight away so I think anyone who has a HP laptop needs a can of compressed air to keep the fan and fans vents clean, HP website/ signs of overheating and using compressed air to clean the fan and vents so my advice would be before you deal with the error message clean the fan and vents so hopefully your laptop will stay on and not over heat and then you'll beable to run CHKDSK without the laptop cutting out half way through ( which would be bad for the CHKDSK process and the laptop )

I already cleaned the air vents with compressed air,because my other laptop(also HP) had problems with overheating and cleaning the vents really fixed the problem,but with the probook it didn't help.I don't think its really overheating because when i play games the laptop doesn't feel really hot at all and the fan kicks in occasionly and slows down again.Also I've noticed that only the CPU temp goes wild while the CORE temp are normal.Maybe there's something wrong with the sensors in Windows.Is there any way to check that?

hi I found this on gizmo's freeware under the hot finds section review and link to Coretemp it checks The temperature Of Your CPU rather than the sensors but you could give it a try and see what the results are.

I would suggest to you that yours needs taken apart and cleaned more thoroughly and a fresh thermal paste applied (removal procedure of the old of course beforehand) to your CPU/Heatsink, 120!!!!! I wouldn't NOT turn it on again until done.
