Solved Laptop Really Buggy Since Updated Graphics Driver

It's since the reset. I had to do a reset because I couldn't get it to download anything.

Yes. If I shut it down from the desktop, and then boot it back up it beeps. Also, I am having issues installing updates.

Where did you get that Information from ? ...

I looked it up my BIOS. I have an American Megatrends BIOS. For one beep for that BIOS, it means DRAM Refresh failure. I didn't mean to say Acer.

You would think Acer would have picked up on the problem when it was being Repaired ...


I am not really convinced it is that problem ...

Maxie, the only one that will not search is the MSN homepage. Other search providers can search. Google can search.

Okay. I went to eight forums, and they said to disable secure boot.

Maxie, I finally got it installed. I took me a nap because I didn't get much rest last night because of working on this computer. Also, it the search button on MSN just worked now that I rebooted.

It did. Its stopped beeping now.
