Hello, The laptop connects to a website and then won't complete the download. The hour glass stays visable for many minutes or until the system times out. Everything ran fine until about 2 weeks ago. Another laptop using the same router runs OK. I completely reformatted the hard drive and installed a fresh upload of Windows. The problem was unchanged. I turned off the popup blocker. No improvement. Sometimes after the website is reached a message appears that the site is unavailaable. Could there be a problem with a storage area used to receive the website data no longer being available to receive all of the data required.

Thank in advance for your help
Dennis

Lets see if we can get this train on the right track.
1. You are on a Windows 7 Forum and you specs indicated XP.
2. If you are using Windows 7 filling out your My System Specs completely helps us help you. This little program will help you do that.
Speccy - System Information - Free Download

If your not using Windows 7 you should be. We can give you guidance there.

Layback Bear, Youu are right. I am using XP. I have seen other posts from XP users seeking support and were getting helpful responses. So I thought I would try. This fourm seemed to have nice and knowledgeful folks. I'll look for another site not dedicated to Windows 7.
Thanks for the reply.
