Okay, here's the story.

I have a 17" HP Pavilion dv8000 which I bought 6 years ago. Its a really good computer of its time and i've been doing some upgrading on it from Windows XP Media Center to Windows 7. Windows 7 is now working fine and all but if I use it for more than 3 hours, it starts to lag. Even watching movies on it the visual and sound starts to come out of sync. The Internet and YouTube will starts freezing for a time (which should not have happened in the first place). Even I can hear a sound in my laptop almost sounds like its trying hard to run something or a large application. Might it be the RAM or the CPU??? I guessing here but I want your expert openions based in the zip files I've attached.

Ive been looking on the net for some time and I've found a thread saying what I should do.

I've followed all the steps above and downloaded the mentioned software. So what I'm gonna do is attach a file of my laptop performance.

Help please.

Welcome to Seven Forums IThinkFit. I'll let other, more experienced members peruse your files, but just off, your specs say you only have 1GB of Ram. That is the bare minimum for a 32 bit Windows 7. I'd check your ram usage when you 1st start your PC, and compare to the usage when it starts to lag. A Guy
