Laserjet 4L on Windows 7 X64 with USB Cable

I have an old Laserjet 4L and want to attach it to my Windows 7 Ultimate X64 system. I attached the printer with a USB cable and Windows recognized the printer immediately and installed the driver. It looked like all was fine, but when I try to print to the printer, nothing prints. The print job goes into the queue and sits there. What do I need to do to get the printer to print?

you might want to try HP's driver found here:
HP LaserJet 4L/mL Printer series -  HP LaserJet, Color LaserJet, and LaserJet AiO/MFP Products - Print Driver Available in Windows 7 - HP Business Support Center

Thanks for the suggestion. HP's site says that Windows 7 includes the driver. There is nothing else available from HP.

fberlack welcome to SF,
I have the same printer and it's running on a usb converter cable via my 64 bit W7.
This appears to be the correct driver.
