Lately Yahoo Mail Hangs Frequently

Sometimes when I try to open, sometimes when I try to delete a message, sometimes when I go into the span folder to delete. Sometimes is works fine. I only have Firefox installed and it's updated to v 111.0.1. No amount of cache or cookie clearing seems to help.

Press and hold the Shift key and at the same time launch Firefox. Chose just Safe Mode. Now go to Yahoo Mail and see if the same issue exists.

If it does you might have a plug-in issue or add-on issue. Let me know and we can go further.

"Clearing system seems to help." What do you mean by this? Clearing what exactly? Is the problem fixed then or what?

Nothing has changed except updating Firefox since this started, and at times it works okay.

The only plug-in installed is Widevine Content Decryption Module and the only extension is uBlock Origin.

Yesterday it worked flawlessly. Today Yahoo mail and seniorforums.com were hanging. Nothing has changed between yesterday and today. Opening a Firefox again, then deleting the first running session is a temporary fix since they soon start hanging again.

I clearing the cache using CCleaner and deleting the cookies for these sites is also a temporary fix.

I also ran a quick virus scan in MSE and Malwarebytes. Nothing detected.

Once again.
