Latest BSOD After Reformat! - Help Please :)

I bought a pre overclocked cpu from scan last year. do you think that is the issue?

Well yes.

Generic "Stop 0x124" Troubleshooting Strategy:

1) Ensure that none of the hardware components are overclocked. Hardware that is driven beyond its design specifications - by overclocking - can malfunction in unpredictable ways.

Search in the manual or in the manufacturers website if there is a way to get back to restore your clocks to default.

Hm the only problem with it been the CPU is that it overclocks itself when needed and all i was doing is browsing.

What were you doing when you got the crash?

You could take it back to the store you purchased it from and ask them to remove the overclock for you.

I was running skype, youtube and Runescape at the time (shit game ik)
i can probably declock it myself i have the new types of BIOS which allow you to just reset it. It's a new build which i got for Christmas and i have only bluescreened twice. I think it could of been hot but the day before i was playing in the same temp and playing BF3 all day so i'm really lossed. I paid extra for the overclock and don't really want to take it off because i heard the 2500k is meant for that sort of thing and it has a big after market cooler.

Is there any way to pinpoint which hardware it is?

The font in red is what I could make out and seems that its CPU/Processor related
