With this new version works the "Run CCleaner" on Recycle Bin!!
It's had that for a while now.
I haven't noticed much difference in the speed. It's starting and running slightly faster than it did on Vista, but then, so is everything else.
Did you check the options to see if you've accidentally got it set to run a different scan than you had on Vista? Some of the other options take quite a bit longer than the default one.

Just double check before you clean the registry and also always backup your registry before cleaning.

Works fine for me.I use the registry cleaner on it and have never had a problem.

Does anyone know if it's safe to run the registry scanner on Windows 7?
It's never safe to run any registry cleaner unless you really know what you're doing. I think the experts on this board would agree. However it should "work" fine in 7.

I have run it and it works fine, but just make sure you save the registry setting before you delete them.

Yep ccleaner is the only registry program I trust. Not had any problems with it since it incorporated windows 7 support.
