In addition to Carl's excellent recommendation I would also like to mention that under CCleaner> Options> Exclusions you can very easily exclude any files on your computer from deletion even files that are in folders that CCleaner cleans by default such as the AppData> Local> Temp folder...
Here I have the two fontconfig files which contain all of the scripts for my Image Management Software exempted from deletion and CCleaner will delete the other temp files in the folder each time it is run, but these files which have an exemption always remain on the computer.
