CUDA is a parallel computing architecture that does calculations (non graphic).
It works with PhysX doing physics calculations, on simultaneous (thousands) threads.

These drivers are mainly for the GTX 200 and GTX 400 series cards, yes they can work with older cards, best to stay with stable past drivers.

I'm running a 260 GTX XFX Black Edition, which is a factory overclocked card, with latest betas with no issues

I'm running a factory oc'd(bfg) card with the betas and can report no issues at all.

New Beta drivers seem to be pretty good so far. I haven't been able to test all my games yet but for now:

Just Cause 2 Concrete Jungle Benchmark -

197.45 = 42.76
258.69 = 47.98

5 FPS gain there. Idle temp seems down a few also.

Best news is no more crashing with flash. I was getting some crashing with 258.49 so I went back to the 197.45's which are the best in my case so far. 258.69 may take over but I need to test some more.

Since Nvidia ditched their gamma adjustment wizard, how are you guys adjusting your monitors? one of the beauties of their tool was that it was THEIR tool... it worked by taking over the property settings. if I use a third party tool, I've potentially got four toolsets all stepping on one another monkeying with gamma settings: the tool/util, the nvidia software hairball, a video player, and win 7!

I just the monitor adjustment wizard that comes with Windows 7. Works good enough to set the monitor up to my liking.

I've been quite happy with 257.21 on my GF9600GT OC .. but TBH, I've been happy with everything since 191.07.
