i think build 7229 was the latest that was leaked as an ISO, you can find x86 and x64 on many torrent sites just by searching windows 7 7229 on google, you just need to match the hash afterwards

there have been several VHD to ISO released, latest for x86 is 7260 and for x64 is 7232

again, these can be found just by searching google

you can be sure the ones done by Solor is legit without any problems, search on mininova for Solor and you should find something

ok, matching the hash... how is that done?

search for(google wil do),download and install a program called hashtab, this will give you a tab showing file hashes under file properties i.e. right click a file, select properties, then you go to the 7260/ 7232 thread and search for the hashes, usually they're sticky on the first page of thread.
After you downloaded an iso, you right click it, compare the hashes to make sure it hasn't been tampered with.

Also, I would recommend that you not download or install anything right now. It would be best for you to wait for RTM leak, which should be made available by Monday, the latest (probably).

Only thing is, RTM won't have keys available, but other leaked builds are good until March 1, 2010.

Okay I haven't converted a vhd myself, but as far as I understand, you need a previous,preferably latest, ISO to use the guts(installer) from.
foreversilent004 - I'm guessing you don't have a late build ISO - so get the ISO of 7232(64bit) or 7260(32bit) as made by Solor, try mininova, don't waste your time downloading a vhd
