Latest Version of Adobe Flash Player

Thanks Jim,

I was just hoping to find an easier way to make sure Chrome Flash is up to date.
For me Adobe Flash is a pita to make sure everything is up to date.
I got rid of Adobe Reader long ago, but still use Flash...

Maybe I should just remove Chrome and eliminate the issue.
I like to have it for occasional testing, but ... is it worth it?

I THINK I found an issue (security) with the default scheduled task to update Flash, but I can't be sure for a few "update cycles".
That's why I wondered how Chrome Flash should get updated...

You can install various versions of Flash to Chrome and disable / enable those as you wish. Just type chrome://plugins to addressbar and disable all except the version you want to use.

How does that work for keeping Chrome Flash up to date?
The new (update) version won't be listed, as it doesn't exist now.

You need to keep it updated yourself. Disable existing Flash, it will then allow you to download the latest.

I was hoping to learn of a way to easily keep Chrome Flash up to date...
But that sounds like the best option for me the way I use Chrome.
Disable it, and when I do use Chrome/Flash, remember to update to the latest Flash version when it doesn't work!

Sorry but that's the way it is. Either do nothing, let Chrome take care of updating, or do it manually.

This laptop I'm using now had no Chrome installed, I just did it to get the screenshot, but on my desktop I have Chrome and a few latest versions of Flash, using the manual method; if an update has issues, I can disable it and use on older one until the next update.

That's fine and thanks for making me think different about this.
I may not use Chrome for months at a time...
I like to have it for testing new versions occasionally, or check out some issue I see reported here (SF).
I don't like to install/uninstall programs needlessly, so this works for me.

11.7 Already? Did Adobe just followed Chrome and Firefox's rapid version release scheme? I don't even see the difference anymore between 11.4 and 11.7 aside from security updates.

Adobe is following Microsoft update schedule which is 2nd Tues of Month.
