I use the Portable version of SUMo and never had a problem with pups
My previous reply was a response to this statement:
Gets tiresome real quick constantly updating everything (adobe, MS updates, apple updates) - would be nice to use devices/computers for a while rather than spend most of the limited free time I get updating everything!
SUMo is an Update Checker that finds more updates available than any other program i have used.
I was just trying to point out that using SUMo can find more updates available than Scottyboy99 sees now.
I don't recommend SUMo for everyone, but i use it, i like to know what updates are available so i can chose to update or not.
That does take more time, but it seems every-time i run it, it finds some new update(s) available i wouldn't know about otherwise.
The "torture test" is trying to figure which updates available i want to install and when.

There's an Adobe announcement that an update to Flash Player (
21.0.0.197 ) is available but the download page indicates the version that is to be replaced. I'm unsure if this is a minor oversight on Adobe's part in forgetting to change the old version to the new version (
21.0.0.213 )on their update page.
April 7, 2016 In today's release, we've updated Flash Player with important bug fixes and security updates.
Current Flash Player customers who have enrolled in the "Allow Adobe to install updates (recommended)" update mechanism will be automatically updated to the latest version of Flash Player over the next 24 hours.
Users who have selected "Notify me to install updates" will receive an update notification dialog within 7 days from today. Please note that Windows users will need to restart their system or log out and in to activate the update notification dialog.
The latest version of Flash Player can always be downloaded and installed by simply visiting https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer
Customers using Google Chrome or Windows 8.x/10 Internet Explorer or Microsoft Edge will receive updates through the Google and Microsoft update mechanisms.
