Thanks, Brink. I am trying it right now but it will take me a while to evaluate it because I have previously had up to 3 days with no problems.

If it works, I will install it on the other three computers.

edit: Well, the "fix" was installed on two computers yesterday and this morning- no problem.
Yes, it is too early to call success.

Given that I've only upgraded to version 2.x in recent weeks, I think it's a fair bet that I'll be leaving version 3 for quite a while yet! I prefer to judge whether a product is still in beta based on what forum users are saying rather than what the developers are claiming.

In any event, I'm uncertain whether the new "all-inclusive" style of product will appeal to me, I may simply switch to a different product altogether if definitions support for version 2.x stops in June.

This is why some of us are concerned. With Malwarebyes now seeking total domination through buying up all complementary products it means there's a danger of people putting all their security eggs in one basket - which is not necessarily good security.

I don't know but I was messing around with so many benchmarks on win-10 and had an issue with 3dmark and installed ccleaner and ended up with chrome without prompt :mad2:
So I used it for the hell of it
Of which ccleaner was useless

I have been using the new Malwarebyte (AdwCleaner) for some time now and it still works as good as it use to.
