Lenovo E545 Clean Windows Install No Longer Genuine 0xC004F063

Hello,

I bought a laptop from Lenovo (E545) with Windows 7 Professional x64 pre-installed with A LOT of bloatware. So stupid me decided to format and do a clean installation.

Lenovo did not provide me with a recovery disk or a Windows disk so I downloaded the image from Microsoft's website and made a boot-able USB as per their instructions. I used Magical Jelly Bean Keyfinder to get the CD key and product ID information I needed.

After the installation, everything seemed fine for a few days. Then I got the "This copy of Windows is not genuine" error, along with the black desktop background. When trying to re-activate, I receive error 0xC004F063. When I click on more information, I'm informed: "The Software Licensing Service reported that the computer BIOS is missing a required license."

Sorry about the delay!
Yu appear to have re/installed Windows 7 using Retail media, rather than the necessary Lenovo Recovery media.
For the installed OEM_SLP Key to work, you MUST use the Recovery media.
