Live One Care safty scanner

I ran the complete scan and it found 17 registry errors. I checked the boxes to create a restore point and fix, but it did not fix them. It came back "user skipped"?

Any idea what I need to do to repair these registry errors (if anything). 15 of them were file extension something?

CCleaner comes up "no problems" on its registry scan.

Hallo billberry, the file ext will always re create as far as Reg cleaning you may wish to have a look at this thread;

Not sure I understand what you mean by the file ext. will always recreate, but it seems like that I need to forget about reg. cleaners totally. Right?

There is a lot of sound advice in that thread, like you said if Ccleaner is not showing anything in the Reg cleaner dept. then i would say your reg is pretty good and best left alone.
