Local Disk C: , space question

there is 78gb on my c: . I instaled win 7 , and windows folder takes 9gb , my files are 9gb too ... program files about 2gb . And free space is 48gb . Where is 10gb left ?? Is it possible that drivers are 10gb !?

Mazzy, Welcome to the forums,
there are system restore points, page files, and temporary files that all take up space on the hard drive. It could be very easy for these files to get quite large very fast if you have not performed any kind of clean up tool

I open C: , select all folders , and plus free space it is 71gb . My C: is 78 . Where is 7gb ?
Is that windows ( 7gb ) ? I thought windows 7 is "windows" folder .

Down load this and you will see everything on your drive.
You mention that you just installed, if you did not format, it can be windows.old and that can be deleted if you are sure that you have all of your stuff from the old OS.

lol , I formated then instaled. But I remember , read somewhere that for win 7 space needed is 16gb ... windows folder which is 9gb and those ghost 7gb .
So i suppose that win7 is 16gb

If you have any doubt, you can make a system restore, download the software that I suggested and see exactly what is on your drive. When done you can even use system restore to remove it completely.
