Just upgraded from XP to 7. No problems until I tried to look at C (the only drive) in Windows Explorer and got the above error message. I am logged on as an administrator. Right click to Properties works, and administrators have Allow checked for all permissions. Tried changing owner of drive (with all subcontainers and objects) from TrustedInstaller to administrator user I am logged on as, but no change. Tried a suggestion I saw to add "grant full admin control" option to registry, but that seems to apply only to folders, not drives. Check Disk says clean. Files listed under Documents (all stored on C) are visible and available in a normal way, but the drive itself cannot be opened. Have restarted after each change, but no luck. Any suggestions?
