Logitech headset not working despite....

i've tried several times now to use a logitech headset on my laptop (it works on my office PC), i downloaeded the driver twice (with chrome & firefox) still nothing. no sound no voice. here is the specs

Dell Lattitue 3330
windows 7 professional
Intel Quad core i3-3217U at 1.8 Ghz
64 bit
4 GB RAm
4.9 user rating

i thought it might useful for you to know, that i typically have 15-25 tabs open when working. when gaming its all shut down. yet Logitech headset still nnot working.

please help,
my experience not the same online.

It would help to know what model the Logitech is and is it connected via a 3.5mm stereo plug or via USB.

yes, its connected vis USB 2.0, headset is reversable, dont know model number but it looks EXACTLY like this :LogitECH HEADSET
