Hello all ;)
Sorry if I'm posting in the wrong forum category, but I'm looking for a screen recorder that can fully work on Windows 7 and be able to record in HD 720p 60fps or 40fps with no lag while you're recording. I also want the frames to be really clear and smooth and not pixely and buggy like some screen recorders. It doesn't need to be free, I accept any suggestions.

Thanks previously.

Maybe Fraps would do it? They say "capture audio and video up to 2560x1600 with custom frame rates from 10 to 120 frames per second." It's US$37 for the full version, but you can try a limited functionality version for free.

Thanks, but Fraps is only for games! I tried it out on Burnout Paradise and Batman Arkham Asylum and it works perfectly, but it can't record your desktop and I'm looking for something that can record the desktop... Any other ideas? BTW, I tried CamStudio, but the image comes out laggy most of the time...

Good choice. I've been using Camtasia for a couple years and this is great little program for the price. You can output your finished product in just about any format (Flash, MOV, AVI, WMV, Etc.) you want, it has a great add-on for recording PowerPoint presentations, and you can create a free account with Screencast to use for distributing your video on the Web. Very intuitive to use with and as I mentioned, it is a great little program for the price. Oh, and be sure to view some of the great "Getting Started Videos" available from the Help menu in the program.

I tried HyperCam, but it still wasn't what I'm looking for. And since you're all saying I should check Camtasia out then fine I'll download it and post my opinion after a couple o' minutes (unless it's so good I totally forget).
