I have a Netgear wndr3400 router and for some reason once in awhile i will lose bandwidth, my connection will go from the normal 5mb down to 1.5mb or even lower and either rebooting the router or the modem fixes it for awhile.

The one computer on the network that is directly connected to the modem has no lose of speed. Its just the wireless network. Ive noticed that the drop of speed seems to happen after another computer logs onto the router and then off again, especially after using my Ipod. After using my ipod the connection is almost guaranteed to drop and only rebooting the router or modem fixes the bandwidth again for other computers.

Hello Evilclive,

Make sure that you have the latest driver for your Wi-Fi adapter.

Install and run Xirrus Wi-Fi Inspector.
Click on the 'Show Networks' to display all wireless networks on the xirrus icon on your desktop of if you have one running in a corner. Tap the Printscreen key on your keyboard, open up Paint then choose Edit from the Menu and select Paste, then SAVE it. Upload and attached it here, click on Go Advanced and locate Manage Attachments Tab and attached the file.
