Solved Lost boot menu

My system is a desktop pc with dual boot Win7 and Linux Mint each on there own HD’s using Easybcd boot manager and whilst tinkering with the boot priority set up I must have deleted the boot choice.
The problem I now have is that on boot up windows boat loader appears but the only entry is “ Neogrub boot loader” there is no other entry. When I decide to go into safe mode (F8) nothing happens, I then tried to do a windows repair from my win 7 installation disk, the disk loads to the first menu choice but The mouse pointer and the key board do not function so I cannot make any selection and progress. Through the bios I can manually select the Hdd with linux and boot into linux but selecting Win7 hdd it takes me back to the Windows boot manager screen as described above. I am now at a loss so some help please.

Is it a Legacy - MBR or EFI - GPT?

Need more information about your hardware.

I suspect that you have a computer that requires new drivers that isn't on the Win 7 installation drive. That is why you don't have mouse and keyboard when booting from it.

Please boot Windows 7 and launch Disk manager (C:\Windows\System32\diskmgmt.msc)
Post here a full window image. Don't forget to expand the columns so we can read them.

Hi,
As I said I cannot boot into windows at all so I cannot access anything I cannot launch disk manager . The motherboard did not come with any installation disk, the MB is EFI. All worked Ok until I deleted Win7 HDD from EasyBCD now I cannot access the Win7 hdd.

What MoBo you have?

Is the drive Legacy - MBR or EFI - GPT?

A Legacy - MBR boot sequence is different from a EFI - GPT boot sequence.

If you have Win 7 32 it must be Legacy - MBR

That is why you have been linked to boot media.

You will need a working machine to download the iso file and extract it to usb using usb7ice

Then you plug that usb boot media you have just created into the sick machine and boot from the usb stick.

I'm using an Asus P8H-61-M motherboard with an i3 cpu.

Use SIW2 17514x86.iso to create a boot able WinPE with many tools.
Rebuilt the BCD entry using Easybcd on it.

After much fiddling with the WinPE I have managed to get everything to work. So again to you and other who took time to help me out thank you very much.
