Hello, I have lost my windows 7 disc and I really need to reinstall windows due to nastys on my system. I already looked online (for hours to be exact, its 5am and I've gotten no where). I still have my product key. Getting it online is not an option for me... And I really don't feel the need to buy the disc again. So is there anyway i could legitly get a copy of Windows 7 professional 32 bit online?
Thanks.

Uhh, buy getting it online i mean downloading, not getting microsoft to send me another disc...Some researching I did earlier tonight showed that as one of the few options. :|

Yes you can. - but this forum's rules do not allow members to give out that information. Google intelligently and you shall be rewarded, but beware, there are no guarantees that you will get what you think you are downloading.

yeah Google is your friend.. there are legit ways to get the iso and burn another disk. Assuming you have a valid and legit key there is no issue... Can you borrow a disk? Disks are not key specific IIRC.

If you must download from the web, check the comments closely to make sure nothing is added like a crack or pre-activation. Then after download, rightclick scan with your AV and Malwarebytes

If you have a friend you can borrow a Win7 install DVD from, if necessary you can extract the ISO using ImgBurn, then unlock all versions to burn another DVD to install your licensed version. Steps are in link below.

I'll try the Replacment if i cannot get this ISO file to work.
But I have a few questions.
1. Can I mount the windows 7 ISO with something like deamon tools and get the setup working that way?
2. If not, I've read that i have to burn it to an RC-disc?
3. Is the way I'm doing this legit?

Alright. So I tried mounting the ISO file and all seemed well until I got an error saying I need more disk space. I have 400gigs free so disk space shouldn't be an issue? I also have some blank discs, but... They are about 100mb short of what I need to burn windows 7. The disk space error only comes up if I choose the"upgrade" option. If i choose custom install I get another error saying something about no drivers?
Can anyone help me here?

Ahh, it was something like 2gigs. 2350MB...Really close to that. I checked out the files in it...Everything seems legit.
I torrented it off of (insert random torrent site) all though. Now that i think about it. The setup file was only something like 127KB. Is that normal? :O did I just Keylog myself? O:

A 32 bit & a 64 bit .iso file should burn to a 4.7gb DVD with no problems at 4x speed using ImgBurn (Freeware) ;)

And you really want to burn to DVD or write to bootable flash stick as you need the installer for repairs in case Win7 becomes unbootable.

When you load ISO into ImgBurn does it say "bootable" in the text at left? Burn at 4x speed with Verify.

Easiest flash stick method is UltraISO trial version: on File tab open ISO, on Bootable Tab Write Disk Image, Write, Format. Boot under USB or HD's.
