I use the Composite Video input on this Graphic Card.
Since I upgraded from Win2k to Win7 no video input device could be found anymore.

When I boot in Win2k then there is a device.
But when I boot with Win7 no installed device can be found anymore!

Does someone has any clue?

Motherboard: MSI K8N Neo4 Series
Dual boot system: win2k, Win7
driver version win2k: 6.14.10.9145
Win7: 8.17.12.6099 (=version 260.99)

Is this the onboard graphics card or an add on graphics card? The GPU might not be windows 7 compliant. Check for a windows 7 driver for GPU from the manufacturer of the GPU. If it's not windows 7 compliant you will need to upgrade to a GPU that is and for around $50 you can get a pretty decent one.

If you are referring to VIVO (video in, video out) then I have a feeling you are SOL. For that to work you need Nvidia's WDM driver,

WDM Drivers

which last saw an update more than 5 years ago and only supported up to XP. If you're running Windows 7 32 bit you might be able to get it to install using compatibility mode,

but I wouldn't count on it.

@stormy13,
I installed the WDM drivers.
The SIW (System Information for Windows) program indicates the WDM drivers are loaded
The NVIDIA control in the Windows control panel does n't show any additional video input
At last, my application does n't find any video input (oh yes, the webcam)

@ whs,
I ran theadviser and found the 7950GT board is compatible with Win7

Well, thank you guys for the quick answer, but unfortunately ..

oh yes, the webcam

Webcam? A webcam has nothing to do with video card drivers.

The Logitech Quickcam Fusion is a USB external video input.
The 7950 GT is a video output board for my display as well as an external video input (composite video)
So my video captute progran i.e. Nero Vision should find two video sources, like it does in Win2k.

Nevertheless I can live with it, when I need the video input I reboot in Win2k

Not much you can do about the video in on your 7950 as Nvidia dropped support for it close to 6 years ago. At least you're dual booting so that as you said, you can still make use of it is needed.

For the webcam did you install the Windows 7 driver for it,

QuickCam® Fusion
