Machine slowing a bit RAM update?

Am running 8GB (2x4GB pair) Corsair PC3-8500 @ 555Mhz and am wondering if installing 8GB Samsung PC3-10600 @ 666.5Mhz (1x8GB) would make that much of a difference to the speed of the machine?

Personally I don't think you'll see much of a difference in real world computing and 1 stick of RAM will not work in a dual channel mode

Am not really worried about the channel stuff it came with some single stick crap they put in at Toshiba and I replaced it with the pair. But I think you are right it will not make that much difference in reality. :huh:

Meant to add am waiting for my Asus ROG to get back so won't be a problem when it arrives
