macrium reflect rescue media what to use

Hello, never done this

Can I use a USB stick or a Sony CD-R 700 MB disc or do I need to buy some other RW Disk ?

I use a CD-R for the rescue media. I think you can use a flash drive, but seems a waste of a flash drive when a 25 cent CD-R will do. Boot up time will be slower with the CD-R but really not a big deal.
