Make My Documents button take me to a different place

I've re-installed W7 and partitioned my hard drive so that all my data is on a different logical drive to the OS. I want the icon My Documents that appears when I try to open a document to take me to the My Documents on my D drive rather than the default My Documents provided by Windows on the C drive. How can I do this?
