Can Malwarebytes run on a Windows 7 (64-bit) computer?
If so, is there any special version of MWB that I should download?
Thank you.

Malwarebytes 5.4.3.221 (most current version) installs and works fine in Windows 7 SP1 64-bit.

This security app has become very bloated (389 MB in size) and will nag you to buy it, so you will need to navigate through its numerous settings and make several changes for it to retain its free status.

When I clicked on the link that you provided, MWB showed me this:

Looks very suspicious to me.

I rechecked the download link I gave you, and the 389 MB size file downloaded fine.

I've been downloading apps and app updates from here:
Just a moment...
on a regular basis for years, and I've never have a problem.

Hmmmm.
I just tried again to download but I got the same message.
I rarely trust anything I see on the internet, what with AI taking over.
But thank you for replying.

I've been running malwarebytes for some time and in fact just did an update which installed fine.
