Yes, while I was waiting for you to respond I was trying out myself. It's relatively useless for today's standard but the UI is great and its really fast. The only way to use it is by hosting a WebOne Proxy. I now use Pale Moon. The old Firefox UI is not so diferrent and the Behaviour is also similar (Pale Moon has a same-era engine but updated it with somewhat modern Javascript and security standards).I'll took a minute to answer this since the main topic went cold.
I no longer use it (outdated specs, maybe it's time for an update), but it was my main browser for as long as it worked. I still have the installer around and from time to time use it to run Flash games that current browsers refuse to run.
Just for fun I installed it again and attempted to use sevenforums. Not a good result. There were some certificate issues (expired root certificates and a few missing ones) but all those are really solvable by just installing the newer ones. Protocol support for TLS 1.2 is there so it's relatively current to nowaday standards. What failed terribly is Javascript, used virtually everywhere. With a 14 years old browser the real challenge is running code using standards from 2026 in a 2012 engine. The posts here where blank, the login didn't pass the Cloudflare challenge and the homepage, while understandable, has substancial visual problems. So much new code for an old browser I guess. Nice ride, but the engine is no longer useable in most modern websites.
