MalwareBytes PRO along side MSE

hello I would like to know will MSE run alongside with MalwareBytes PRO without causing conflict? I'm running MSE at the moment ty.....

I will not run two real time protection at the same time...here, unless it is Malwarebytes free which i use time to time for scanning malware and others.

Malwarebytes free Ed is free! Just update the definition files time to time before a quick or full scan.

The trail version is checked by default on the download so please read the installation windows before auto clicking next...
But it is free,

The free version does not have a Quick scan option nor do you what to use it even if it existed,
The full scan is more accurate but you will need to Manually update the scanner before running the full scan because the free version does Not self update Or provide real time protection,
Malwarebytes is a one time payment it does not expire or renew.
Well worth the price IMHO which I believe is about 30.00 u.s,

Malwarebytes Anti Malware Professional is a anti malware program.
I have run both at the same time active for a long time on two computers with NO problems.

Contrary to the advice given here in 2013, the free edition of MBAM version 1.75 does have a quick scan, I can't speak for the new version 2 as I haven't tried it. Both versions are currently running, but version 2 has had a very chequered start so I'd look for additional advice on that before installing it. I've run the combination of MSE in the background (with daily quick scan, occasional full scan) and the free MBAM version 1.75 manually (using the quick scan twice a week and the occasional full scan) for over a couple of years now with no problems. Of course, all these applications take second place to safe surfing and their success rate will depend to a large extent on the type of sites and downloads you interact with.

Their is no 100% fix for this.

Here is my problem: 1st attempt Avast (FREE) + Malwarebytes (PRO) my pc got veeeeeerrryyyy slow 2nd attempt Microsoft Security Essentials + MalwareBytes PRO same thing.. I have win 7 x64 with 5 gig of ram with AMD 2.10GHZ CPU... I rather stay with Microsoft Security Essentials and MalwareBytes (FREE). BTW I made a fresh install of Windows. If anyone has a straight answer on how to solve my problem ,because im out of ideas... my CPU is at 00% minimum max 01% with 1.00/5gigs of ram.... Please i need some help on this im not a pro

Jerry,

The first thing I suggest is that you take one step at a time - slow down and things will go faster.

Malwarebytes (Mbam) and almost every other AV work flawlessly together (I am not aware of any AV that doesn't work with Mbam).

Pick one AV program and try it for a week or more - you have to get the feel for the operation and configuration on your machine.
I suggest MSE + Mbam, only because MSE is really easy to install and protect your system without much, if any, configuration.

About your sluggish machine.

i would like to know how many ran sticks you have installed since you say you have 5 gigs of ram that would make me think you have 3 ram sticks installed 2 x2 plus a 1gb stick which would not utalize the dual channel. plus a 32 bit system cant use more than 4gb more like 3.25 to 3.5

Good call on the 32-bit RAM limitation.

The machine is 64-bit architecture, so Jerry could (and probably should) re-install Windows x64)
