My reply, sent today 12-14-2013:
Hi Xxxx,
No, My question(s) has/have not been answered, and until it/they is/are I would appreciate it if you, Xxxxx, and your team would leave the "ticket" open until it is..
My one question has been answered: Does anyone know if there is a users manual for this app? No, but we are working on one.
But, there are two plus a new question that have not been answered; an excerpt from one of my earlier emails:
Please keep us in mind
and let us know when the user guide comes out, and a link to it or
would it be an update to the app in the form of a Help menu item?
I did see your earlier email and was formulating a response, but was delayed in replying because of readying the homestead for an upcoming snow event, I'm glad you sent another to prod me along. I was unaware of the urgency of your team to clear unresolved tickets before the end of the year.
I believe my "new questions" are;
1.)
If my ticket is closed will you still be able to send me the information on, "The debut date of the help guide and a link to it??" How will I know it has been released??
2.) Will you ("mbam") be pumping out an update to the app in the form of a Help menu update link, and will it be accessible to my wife's app by an update to the app?? or
3.) I do see that the app updates its database automatically, will this hold true for the help guide??
Personally I would like to see all three:
Question number 1 would be helpful to me, as I do not have a smart phone and work from my desktop workstation.
And, number 2.) Would be helpful to my wife as she could then simply invoke the update/upgrade feature of the app. But, then I do not know if there is even a feature like that on the app because I do not have a manual or help guide.
Question #3.) This would be extremely helpful to my wife if the help guide was automatically applied, and your answer is??
It looks to me that you will not be able to answer these questions until the help guide is published, therefore you will need to keep this ticket open until it is and you and your team know how the guide will be distributed.
In the interests of transparency I will be posting this correspondence and your most recent email (Dec 13 05:01 PM (PST)) here, as an update to our conversation. I omitted your name and others to protect your privacy:
