Manually entering an activation code

I have Risk II (paid for), and the activation code. My problem is, when I reloaded it, all I get is the trial and no way to enter the activation code. I assume it's a registry item, but have no idea where in the registry, or how to enter it. Any help would be appreciated.

I believe you downloaded the trial version and you can't activate that version. Try to find a full download from a trusted source.

I'm using the download from when I bought the game, but I'll look for another download.

I have come across a few youtube videos while searching and even though they may be cracks, they might have to enter some cd-key. Maybe that will give an idea where the registration interface is at.
Also, check installation folder, it may be a seperate exe.

I downloaded a new .exe from tucows, and though it has an activation/buy screen, there's nothing at the other end of it (ReflexiveArcade), which is also the problem I had with my earlier version.

It is possible that it used to call home for activations and, unfortunately it doesn't exist anymore.
