Many Programs Don't Have Internet Access

Hi, recently i opened my internet browser and it said unable to access a proxy server, but i don't use one. I disabled it and i could access the internet again. My web browser works but many things dont, they just won't connect.


I have no idea what is happening. I am running a full scan with avast now.

Any help is appriciated. not to complicated though.

If you have that error it means you had some type of program (probably malware related) that redirected your internet traffic to a proxy server. When it says the proxy server cant be accessed, that typically means the program that had the proxy there in the first place was deleted or disabled.

I would recommend doing full scans with other programs as well.

i did remove the proxy server.
