I was dual booting Ubuntu and windows 7. I decided that i no longer wanted the Ubuntu partition so using the windows 7 partition manager i erased it. everything went well until i turned off my computer. when i tried to turn it back on my boot loader was gone. I simply forgot that it was on that partition. I tried using the recovery disk doing essentially this How to Manually Repair Windows 7 Boot Loader Problems - How-To Geek. But i have not had any luck. Just trying to see if anyone else has another idea about what to do.
