MBAM Stopped my PC

Good Afternoon,
I am very much a beginner and the problem started yesterday afternoon when my pc just slowed down and froze up. I had the Premium for Life version of MBAM which has been showing a flag asking me to clik on a button as i didnt have fulltime protection but this didnt do anything! I have just uninstalled it and the pc is back to its normal speed, its a shame because i have never had any issues with it before. Can someone suggest what i can replace it with please.

Welcome to the forum. This is a known issue with one update and has now resolved with the latest update so if you put it back and do an update it should be ok

Thanks for that, before i do this could i ask is it necessary to reinstall MBAM or is it a different animal as I already have Bullguard and Windows Defender. The latter was on this pc when i bought it recently as a refurbished system from Black Barn Computers.

i have reinstalled it but its not right, when i go my gmail page and slect individual emails the whole page is jumping up and down. If i go to google something, the first letter i type runs across the window, so not sure why this is happeneing.
