Hello all,

First I apologize if this isn't the appropriate place for this kind of question, but i thought about it and couldn't really think of anywhere else to turn for help with this.

I was looking at some USB broadband Keys for my laptop so i can get internet access when no "hotspots" are available. Some are the prepaid type and others have monthly plans, but both can get pretty expensive when you go for the "unlimited" data plans. The problem is i have no idea how much bandwidth i go through personally and dont want to pay for to much more than i need. I was looking for a program that I could use to measure my bandwidth usuage for a given amount of time, say an hour or so. (doesn't have to be exactly an hour, i just want to measure a typical surfing session) I've found many that measure speed, and some do have up/down totals, but i can't seem to find one that will let me reset those up/down totals so i can start the measurement over when i need to. Has anyone come accross a program that might help me do this. Im gonna keep looking in the mean time, but any suggestions would be awesome and really appreciated. I'll post back if i find anything.

thx a lot for any help with this.
