Media Center will record, but not save

I recently changed my cable plan to basic (channels 1-18) and since then, I haven't been able to see any of the shows that I have set to record. They have not saved. I did a search on any new files and even noticed one of my shows recording one night, so I know it is not the cable company.

There's plenty of room on the hard drive and when I manually record and stop recording, it actually DOES save and place it in the recorded TV folder.

It must have something to do with the automated recording feature and even though it seems a coincidence that this started when I changed my cable plan... well, I just don't know. I also did a rescan of the cable network and channels.

Can anybody help?

Thanks,
Marty

Click Tasks, TV, Recorder, Recording Defaults. The last option of Series Only Recording should be set to Keep Up To: As Many As Possible. Otherwise, it's a fix count.

Thanks for the reply. I did indeed set that in the recording defaults, but to no avail. Just for the sake of trying, I set mediacenter to record according to a specific channel date and time and it worked. This makes the problem even more confusing to me.
