I recently bought an Acer Aspire laptop (18.4" monitor). I am having difficulty connecting to the internet with this computer, and perhaps someone here can help me out. Here is some information:
Network Adapter: WiFi Link 5100 AGN
Router: Verizon Wireless (Model Name: MI424-WR)
Wireless network connections are detected, and the connection is "strong". However, when I try to connect, it always fails. When I go to the command prompt, and type "ipconfig" I see "Media Disconnected". I know there is a wireless button on the Acer's, but this is automatically turned on during startup, so I know this is not the problem. For some reason, my router is just not connecting to my network adapter, and I am unsure how to resolve this problem. Thanks for any insight of this issue!
