Confuse!!!

Hello All,

Media Browser is a great app cheers to Sam.....

Here are my issues.I'm using media scout for my tv shows and it doing a great job finding all my shows with metadata and all

The issue is Media Browswer is not always picking up the metadata from media scout.. Example is 24 and Battlestar Galactica.

Media Browser see all the metadata from theses two shows,But will not show the metadata from Bones or Dexter and theses are

not rid DVD's just shows i got online .Now media scout has put all the metadata in the folders and rename the files to the

proper name with the xml file there too including the image file.I have look at each tv show folder and everything is where

it should be at. I have clear the cache in MB and delete the cache folder from media scout same results . Hope this is not

to confusing thanks for any and all help ... I'm running windows vista 32 ulitmate media browser latest build vanila theme

First Thing, I wouldn't suggest using TV Scout as that project is dead and will no longer be kept current with all standers.
I use Media Center Master and <meta>browser/ for all of my scraping now and there a really good team for my large collection of TV and Movies

1)This may have already been answered, but how can I edit album covers and info for DVD's that I own that don't automatically show up?

2)Also what is the best way to save my dvd's to my HDD so that I can also watch them on my 360? I'm using handbrake right now.

Go back to the cover page and find the MetaData Scrapers and use one of them to gather all of your info so you can edit to your harts delight. I'm using Media Center Master now and it works very well.

new system up and running

put all the prts together installed win7 7137 32bit. have all information on NAS but now have a big question?? still working on tweeking MB folders and images. on the network storage system but the question is is there a way to have MB that I'am setting up on the kids computers go look at the network storage device for all of it's configuration??? ie(folders,backdrops,and other) or do I have to configure MB files on each computer.. want to set up all information in one place. like MB configuration wizard. can MB go look at the NAS for this info??

DemonSeed, real nice - that startrek looks real good considering how there are it looks sweet. I was asking settingsun for one for the collections folder itself - is there a way you could maybe make one with maybe one from each in the stack just to get the feel?
Like 6 stacked like that but all from different films and label it collections - almost same as genres

How do you mean stacked? Like the harry potter or the startrek

and pick the movies you want and I'll do it for ya.

I am new to this but figuring it out as I go. Love it so far. I have request a problem, and a question.

First the request. I am trying to get all the folder icons filled out. Without having to download each individually is there a way to get the Studio logos and TV Network logos?

Second the problem. I am running Windows 7 with MediaBrowser and MetaBrowser. I have populated all the images from MetaBrowser info my folders for the movies. I left Media Center on the Movie list for about 40 min, if found all the movies but it is unusably slow when trying to select and play a movie from it. My RAM usage shoots up to about 90% during the process. Going in with MediaBrowser it works fine. It started to act this way when I used MetaBrowser and downloaded all the images and other meta data. I know I can just ignore it and use MediaBrowser but I would like to have the entire Media Center function properly.

Finally the question. I don't understand what the use of the genre folders are when you can use the meta tages just filter you movies. Is there something there I am missing?

EDIT: I looked at the first page again and found images for TV Networks but not the Movie Studios.

Well I'm sure that the reason MC slowed down is it does not store its cache and after running metabrowser there is a tun more info to sort through and it will keep doing this.
The reason media browser is so much faster at doing the same thing is it stors its cache and always knows exactly whats there unlike media center.

Also about the icons look under settingsun's icons and see if what you want is there under random icons. If so I will create a DL for you.
