Medion scanner driver issue

Hi all,

I have got a problem with installing medion md 9705 for windows 7 as it is only supporting Win XP, Win Me, Win 95 operating system but it don't support Win 7 Home Premium 64bit. I have tried Compatibility Mode by select on setup.exe, click right mouse button, properties, compatibility then selected Win XP Service Pack 2 but it doesn't work. I have also tried Win 7 but it still don't make any different when I ran the setup as the driver still not be found.

However, I have selected the update on the driver by clicked on my computer, properties, device manager and then the unknow device. I have tried to update on the online and the driver I have got on my computer that I downloaded from the manufacturer website, but it still make no different. The driver still not be found when I tried to install it.

Do you know how I can get the medion driver to work on win 7?


Any advice would be much appreciated.

Welcome to the forum as you are running a 64 bit windows all drivers must be signed by Microsoft being old it may only ever had 32 bit drivers. You could try their software which finds any drivers if there are any Medion Scanner Drivers Download for Windows 10, 8, 7, XP, Vista

What exactly are you trying to do - i've got an old old Medion Akoya comp, bought from Tesco its still running as a back-up for my mrs photos/Ancestry files

Welcome to the forum as you are running a 64 bit windows all drivers must be signed by Microsoft being old it may only ever had 32 bit drivers. You could try their software which finds any drivers if there are any Medion Scanner Drivers Download for Windows 10, 8, 7, XP, Vista

I am trying to update the driver on win 7 64 bit as I want to use the scanner to scan the letters for copies.

Have you got your Medion Akoya working on win 7?

If so, I would love to know how you can get it working.

Chris,

Yes my Akoya W7 is still up and running, as far as i know it was only ever 32 bit

You need to install the 32/64 bit version of the scanner program Epson/Fujistu/etc
