Solved Messed up login removal

I tried to remove the Windows 7 login password for an elderly neighbor on her Windows 7 Acer Aspire V5 laptop. Her login was a simple 6 digit number, but she didn't want to hinder her logging on, so I said I could remove it. I went to a cmd prompt and typed netplwiz. Apparently, I did something wrong. When I restarted now it asks for both username and password. Please help.

Do you remember what you did in netplwiz?

:ar: Log On Automatically at Startup

I selected her name and removed and removed her name

Uh oh. Remove will delete the account like in Option 4 below.

:ar: User Account - Delete

You may need to create a new account for her.

I was able to get into startup repair, ran it, restarted and it came back to a normal start screen asking only for the password (not to include a username). I typed in her original password and it opened. How do I easily and safely remove her login password? Thanks for your help.

You can use the steps in Option 1 below to setup netplwiz to have Windows automatically log in to her account at startup.
