Messenger won't go to tray.

i know the compatibility trick to change it to vista but it won't work no more.

tried all compatibility modes from xp sp1-3 and vista sp1-2.

the issue started after i updated Avira anti virus 9 to version 10.
and comodo firewall from version 3 to 4.

i uninstalled messenger completely, including registry (with revo uninstaller)
and reinstalled - same thing.
i noticed, if i patch messenger with A-Patch its okay and goes to tray until i restart then it goes back to task-bar.

If you have a desktop icon just right mouse click and select " ADD to Taskbar"

that got nothing to do with my problem.
i don't want it in taskbar i want it in system tray.

It's a bug. Right click on the shortcut for it (wherever it is) and select Properties, then on the Compatibility tab set it to Vista mode.

ok i found the problem.
comodo firewall version 4 causing this.

here is a thread with lots of people that had this issue.
there is also a work around, i hope in next update the problem resolves.

Comodo prohibits WLM from minimizing to the taskbar in W7 x64 (CIS v4.0.1**.742)
