Hi there.
I'm trying to get my microphone to work properly with Windows 7 64Bit. I have the latest audio drivers found in the sticky on the forum. All my other drivers are fully up to date and functioning correctly.
When I plug my mic in (back or front) windows recognizes that I've done so. The mute switch on my cord is OFF. I can see the microphone in the sound settings, and I can get it to display a few green bars by changing certain settings.
I don't have skype or any other voice applications installed as of yet. I have been doing all testing with "record sound" and setting my headphones to hear the sound.
The only thing I can't do is get my voice to work in any applications.
It is very unlikely that my mic is broken, it worked a few weeks ago and since then it has just been detached inside a drawer while I wasn't using it.
Any suggestions would be great, I'm currently in pursuit of another headset to test for hardware issues.
Thanks.
