I have created a slideshow in Microsoft media however when I burn it to a DVD the music and the pictures no longer are in sync. It appears that the pictures move faster off of the DVD than they do when created in media. This is the case whether played on a DVD player or a computer however when played in media it works perfectly.

Hi and welcome to 7forums!

Browse your source video file in explorer and click on it, you might see how many fps (frames per second) it was rendered at at the bottom of the screen.
And what software did you use to burn the disk?

Microsoft Media - Burning DVD

Thanks for the information - not able to find fps but it is obvious that what was burned to the DVD is faster than the original which was developed in Microsoft media. I burned directly from the source file through microsoft media.

Is this slideshow like a long video or just series of single frames that are put together when playing? What is the file extension?
