Microsoft Office 2007 Home & Student Problem

I downloaded 07 Office Home and Student and now every time I open it, it goes through the whole configuration process. It still works like a charm but anyone else have this problem or know what its about? And also is there a 2010 Office coming out for the RC that we will get to use?

Only way I ever figured out to make it stop the "please wait while Windows Installer configures Excel" or whatever is to make a new profile on that computer then transfer all your data from the old profile to the new one (data meaning favorites/desktop items/my documents). I have seen this with Office 2000/2003/2007. Not sure about 2010.
